Meeting/Event Information

The Columbia SHRM Chapter meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of each month at SEGRA PARK.  Meetings alternate between breakfast (7:30-9:30 a.m.) and lunch (11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.).  Notifications for monthly meetings are sent to all members via email at least two weeks prior to our meetings.  If you do not receive these notifications, please email [email protected].

*** If you plan to attend, you must register by NOON Monday of the meeting week.***

Note: The Guest Fee for regular meetings is $20 paid in advance online or $25 cash/check at the door. Advance registration still is required if paying at the door to ensure sufficient seating and meals.  A $20.00 no-show fee will be charged to any registrant who fails to attend a meeting without canceling his/her registration in advance.  To cancel your registration, please contact [email protected].

Throughout the course, we’ll help you to fill any HR knowledge and skills you may have to ensure you are prepared for the HR challenges thrown your way. We’ll also be using the 2026 SHRM Learning System, which creates a custom learning path based on your unique knowledge and skill gaps to guide you through the entire SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge® (SHRM BASK®).

The study course will be virtual on Mondays from 7:00 pm -8:30 pm from August 31, 2026, to November 16, 2026. You just need to reserve the time and obtain the 2026 SHRM Learning System. 
Columbia SHRM Members can attend the study course at no cost! Participants will also have access the Learning System at a fraction of the cost.  Public pricing exceeds $1300 for study materials alone but participants will be able to purchase the materials for $700.  To order from the chapter just add the study material ticket type to your registration. 
If you are not a member of the Columbia SHRM Chapter, we encourage you to join, but non-members can still attend for $60 and obtain the 2026 SHRM Learning System at a reduced rate of $700.
